Via ☆ kanba“Oh, I see… so that’s how you know so much about me. I suppose I’m impressed with how well you keep tabs on people… but then you have the money to employ spies. I’m used to just doing everything on my own. And… WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? I don’t remember Yuri san doing anything like that to me? I mean… we went to a hot springs together… and then it got a little fuzzy…”
She was shocked, trying to remember if whatever it was Masako had alluded to was in fact the truth. So shocked in fact that when Masako’s lips touched her cheek she didn’t try to stop it. She looked the other girl in the eyes, despite her fear.
“Masako… is what you said true? About Yuri san?”
She could feel herself clinging onto the other girl now, needing someone to hang onto as she felt without that, she would simply be washed away. No, surely Yuri hadn’t…
“I am not entirely sure how it hap-” Ringo was clinging to her. It surprised Masako, but… she enjoyed it. The embrace was warm… enjoyable.
“There there…” She was not entirely sure what to say. No one had really cried in her arms before. Perhaps… She gently brushed the tears away with her thumb. “I do not think she did anything to you other than tie you up… I may have prevented that somewhat.” It was not a hundred percent, of course, but that was not what she needed to hear right now.
What did she need? Had this girl been crying before, perhaps she would not have cared, but now it touched her heart. Comfort… an embrace back. She wrapped her own arms around Ringo, and held her tight.
Ringo looked up at the other girl as she wiped away her tears. Masako was treating her so gently now, compared to how she had been earlier. Was this another side to the headstrong girl that she hadn’t seen before. So, Masako could be sweet and kind too…
She felt safe in the girl’s embrace and clung on tighter… too tight perhaps as she realised exactly how close she was pressing against the other girl’s body and she reddened slightly.
“You helped me then? Thank you, Masako… I - I have to repay you somehow…”
How could she repay her… it wasn’t like there was much she could give her.
“I can’t give you any money… and it’s not like you need it, you’re so rich anyway. Maybe I could just be your slave for a while until I work off the debt! Would that please you, Masako?”
A-a debt!? Ringo did not owe her anything. She… “I did not do it for you, Ringo…” It was painful to say, but she had to rid this girl of being a ‘slave’. She was not one to… no she was one to force people into things they did not want, that they secretly wanted. But she was not one to force people unwillingly into things when they agreed to be forced…
That entire thought line makes no sense.
“You were merely… no, not merely. You were a thankful coincidence in my attempts to retrieve half of your diary. I am glad now that I stopped such a thing, but at the time it was not in my thoughts. Sorry…”
It was not empty, strangely. There was real emotion, real sorrow for the things this girl had been through.
“So you do not need to be my slave. However if you still want to do anything…” She left it hanging, waiting to see what the girl would say.
“Ah, I see,” Ringo said sadly. ”How… silly of me to think you had shown me any particular attention that day. But, it is for the best I suppose…”
Masako had rejected her offer which Ringo found strange… she would have thought this headstrong girl would have jumped at the chance of having someone at her beck and call. Surely someone as rich as her would be used to that after all. But, she hadn’t done… really, there was so much more to Masako then Ringo had given credit for. She was hinting that there was something Ringo could do for her instead… but she wasn’t entirely sure what. Then her mind went back to the situation she’d found her in back then with Yuri san… maybe… did Masako think she regularly was involved in such things? Maybe… that was what she wanted in return…
Ringo felt her breath come faster… she didn’t think she was capable of such things… she’d been unable to with Tabuki after all. But this was different… it was almost like.. returning a favour… yes, that’s all that it was.
Still she was shaking as she turned back to Masako and ran a hand down the girl’s waist. She wondered if her hands were clammy, but still she used her other to draw Masako closer, finger’s trailing at the base of her neck.
“Would this be enough compensation, perhaps?”
She stopped before her lips met the others, waiting… just in case she had as usual got completely the wrong idea…
“More than enough.” She leaned forward, just enough to barely touch Ringo’s lips, just enough. It was… warm~ Her exhale… warm. Her soft hands, running across her body… warm. There was just wonderful warmth. Bliss as their lips met for short seconds.
This was what she wanted, was it not? Love, a willing touch like this?
…
She did not feel so empty anymore. But was it truly willing? It was the same reason she had never shot Kanba and simply dragged him away. Unwilling would just leave her as empty as she had been before. Unwilling did not take her breath away.
But it certainly did not feel unwilling. She wanted more, wanted to kiss again, wanted to lose her breath in the moment once more. Pushing herself forward, she met Ringo’s lips another time. Her hands, both of them ran along Ringo’s waist.
Yes, this was what she wanted.
Ringo felt a small surge of happiness inside as Masako’s lip’s joined with hers. Really, she’d half expected to be pushed away - it wasn’t like any of her other “relationships” has ended any other way. But, the girl had surprised her. Maybe it’s not so bad just being myself after all, rather than Momoka. If Masako could accept her as she was.. maybe there was still hope for her.
The embrace grew more heated and Ringo eventually pulled away breathlessly as the other girl’s hand’s moved down to her waist.
“Masako… I… I feel like I should be afraid right now… but I’m not. Why does this…?”
She couldn’t finish the sentence for fear of blushing.
Why does this feel so right?
“I…” She could not answer Ringo’s question. She did not know herself, she had never expected this of herself. “I… have no idea.” It just felt right, felt like she was filled inside just by this kiss. Her heart still ached, but in longing rather than pain now. There was just so much more she wanted… But those thoughts shamed her, and almost brought the tinge of red to her cheeks.
There was another person involved as well, and she just wanted to progress without assuaging her. It was… terrible.
“Ringo…” She said, unsure of how to voice it, while her fingernails softly sought for bare skin under Ringo’s blouse, “Are you… are you… do you want to continue?” Ugh, she did blush, she could feel the heat, and it was even hard to meet her eyes.
Her heart was beating so fast that her chest hurt, and everything inside her felt so light, just waiting for the other girl’s response.
Still alive!
OoC: Just feeling generally down about uni starting up again, so I haven’t been able to just sit down and write. Feeeeeeeelings (And hassles with counsellors) are preventing me. I’m sorry Ringo. Should be able to pull something together tomorrow or the day after. Sorry again.

“My true home is with Shouma and Himari.”
A small sigh escaped from his lips as he turned his gaze slightly to the right; still unfazed by the slingshot aimed in his direction. He’d come into contact with it - also with her personality and attempts to bring him back - often enough that he was used to it, by now.
“I’m not admitting to anything, Masako.” Still insisting to reject her, of course. She may have had feelings beyond sibling love for him, but he could never say the same to her. “Maybe you should stop and realize why?”
“I have realized why! Those two have usurped your love, love that should be mine, Kanba.” Such a stone wall of a man, while it could be admirable, it could also be quite annoying. But if he was not going to admit it, she would do it for him.
“But you knew you were missing something, which is why you tried to fill your life with all those empty loves. Because you wanted me. It is why I crushed them all, to remove any obstacles between you and I!”
She still held the slingshot steady.
“So my home is your true home. Not with your fake siblings.”
“It’s not your decision to make, now is it?”
Kanba’s tolerance level was slowly dropping. Each word that she said made it tick lower and lower, until there was almost nothing left of it. But even still, he remained calm. Forcing himself not to snap at her, even if he wanted to.
“I’ve chosen my home, Masako.” The thought of apologizing to her for picking someplace other than his old home came to mind, but he shook it aside. Why should he say ‘sorry’? He did nothing wrong.
“Don’t you remember? I did this for you.” The memory of when he’d left her and Mario came to mind quickly, and it disappointed him that she’d forgotten its importance.
“I’m not going back.”
His decision was made, and nothing would change his mind.
“Fine.” She huffed, and relaxed the slingshot elastics. “You will change your mind, Kanba. And nothing is preventing you from returning, just realize that. I will be waiting.”
With that, she simply left, the train arriving to its stop just as she turned away from Kanba.
I love you.
